Terms of Service for "MemoMaru"

This Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") sets forth the terms and conditions for the use of the voice memo app "MemoMaru" (hereinafter referred to as "this App"). By downloading or using this App, you are deemed to have agreed to this Agreement.

1. Service Content

This App provides a service to transcribe voice into text, automatically create information related to memos, and create enriched memos. User memo data is stored on the device. Additionally, through a subscription agreement, memo creation and report creation functions are unlocked.

For the provision of the service, this App may transfer data to third parties in the following cases:

• To convert voice data to text, OpenAI WhisperAPI is used. In this case, user voice data is transferred to OpenAI.
• To generate titles from registered memo data, classify emojis, emotion icons, and categories, OpenAI ChatGPT API is used. Similarly, when creating reports from past memos, OpenAI ChatGPT API is used. In this case, user memo data is transferred to OpenAI.
• For more details, please refer to OpenAI's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and API Data Usage Policies.
• Google Analytics for Firebase is used for analyzing usage and optimizing services. Traffic data is transferred to Google on this occasion, but this data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals. For more details, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

2. Subscription Service

The memo creation and report creation functions of this App can be used by subscribing to a subscription agreement. The fees, payment methods, and cancellation methods for the subscription are clearly stated within the app. Apple manages the subscription and fee settlement.

3. Prohibited Acts

Through this App, the following acts are prohibited:

1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
2. Acts related to criminal activities
3. Acts that may interfere with the operation of this App
4. Other acts deemed inappropriate by the operator

4. Disclaimer

1. The operator does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, safety, legality, currency, or appropriateness of this App, its provision, or its content, even if a user attempts any legal actions through the use of this App.
2. The operator assumes no responsibility for the results arising from the use of this App.
3. Furthermore, as this App uses OpenAI's WhisperAPI and ChatGPT API, the operator assumes no responsibility even if this App becomes unavailable due to any malfunctions of these APIs.

5. Changes to the Terms

The operator may change this Agreement without notifying the user. The changes to the agreement take effect from the time they are posted on this App, except as otherwise specified by the operator.

6. Analytics

This App uses Firebase Analytics to improve services and enhance user experience. For details regarding the use of Firebase Analytics, please refer to Firebase Analytics Privacy Policy.
